Mrs Beeton's Cookbook mentions lakes around Castlebar for Pike - Tucker's Lake I think was one of them but I could be mistaken. Most of them should have pike. Any of the small ones I reckon but even Mask, Conn and Carra is famous for pike hunting on ice - back in the old days when lakes used to have ice on them in the winter.
