If we are going to have days of mourning for every Bishop that dies, then why cant we have a day of Mourning next week for Prince Rainer3rd of Monaco, we died this week, thank God the government has not given in to this emotional blackmail, every day off costs our fragile economy 700 million Euro in lost work, if people want an hour to go somewhere quiet and pray or meditate then its ok as long as they pay is deducted for that hour, i am not so sure that all those thosands of school children and teachers that have another day off friday will even give one thought about the Pope! to them they gained a day off school, maybe they will be off next Wednesday when Prince Rainer is buried? we had to have a day off for 9/11 or else all the american firms on which we depend on here, would soon have shut up shop and go, so get back to work no disrespect to the late Pope he was a good man and pastor but even he would not be happy with this put on grief of many people who never set foot inside a church.
