Plenty of married priests in the Catholic Church in 2005. Well perhaps not plenty enough but a significant number that reputedly at least left the Anglican Church in protest when they allowed women to become priests. The Catholic church welcomed them with open arms. Tough on the guys who had to make a choice and leave to get married though eh?
