Met a number of people today who were out n about at the weekend and got a dose of 'scaldy head' - a combination of sunburn and windburn.

It's bright n sunny again today folks so please be aware that although it's not the height of summer it's still very possible to get badly burned in this weather at this time of year.

Remember our pallid sun starved skins aren't used to getting the blast of UV rays after long dark winters of discontent.

Cover up yer heads, slap on a bit of cream and wear a pair of UV filter shades.
