First, I'd like to send my sincerest condolences to the families of the victims. There's a lot of talk about seat belts which is fair enough, but I wonder would seat belts have made any difference in this case- The bus turned over on it's side- I have doubts as to whether the seat belts are effective in that situation. What sort of seat belts are they going to put in - airplane style or the 3 point ones that you see in cars- I can't see how the airplane style seat belts will help if the bus turns over. Has anyone done crash tests with buses with / without seat belts?
