How can you say those traffic lights are for pedestrians. Anytime I'm there there is no break between green lights going red on one side and red going to green on the other. Thus there is no time allowed for pedestrians to cross.

Fair point on bin lorries and parking though. Would it make more sense for bin lorries to do their collection late in the evening(7pm-9pm)or early in the morning (5am-6am)

Would you not agree that the junction has run more efficiently when those lights ahve been turned off?
