Ray Burke was found to be in receipt of monies that he decided not to declare to the tax man . . . why did he not delcare these monies ? Not because he wanted to avoid tax but because he didn't want people to know that he was getting these monies in the first place - why did he get these monies ? As he was in public office in a position of power & influence and he 'misued' this to aid these businessmen in return for money. Whilst the law does not allow for Rambo's pension to be stopped whilst he's doing porridge the problem is that it's paid for out of public funds and whilst he was in office it's clear that he wasn't working for the public or in the public interest so why should he be entitled to money that he hasn't worked for . . . Besides if he wasn't found to be corrupt that just backs up my original point . . . the tribunals are a useless waste !
