A dreadful atrocity.

There were some terrifying stats being tossed around there for a while today - stories of police snipers shooting people, bombs in Brighton and double counting of the same bombs in the underground caught between two stations. Londoners seem to have taken it in their stride - much more calmly than in Madrid following the Atocha bomb it seems.

And what a terrible setback - the little glimmer of hope coming from Scotland - what chance of anything substantial now?
