I didn't feel a need to because concern wasn't lacking in this matter. Look, all I am trying to express is my disdain that only deaths on this scale that are close to us make us angry. It was once said that evil deeds and senseless deaths would always occur until everybody got equally upset whether the death was connected to us or not. Why do people wait for a loved one to die on the road before they become passionate road-safety campaigners. I have been told on this forum that I should be ashamed of myself because I am Irish and Irish people go to London.
I thank "Holy Mackeral", "Re-Mark" and "Mogli" for their understanding and comments. The emotional response to this is natural but the comments have no value if the wait until emotions die down before being expressed. On a final point, 1 minutes silence for the Tsumami victims, 2 minutes silence yesterday. When did i minute become inadequate. I know we are trying to send a message to the terrorists which should be a conscience calculated move, not an emotional one.
