The Rossport 5 saga is only the tip of the gas row. There are objections all over the county to proposed housing schemes, roads and industry. Of course we respect the Rossport 5 for their dignity, courage and principles. But we must be careful; Mayo is now regarded as a no-go area for industry. It is well known the IDA is having great difficulty in selling the county as a location for industry. Meanwhile, our brightest and best must seek work outside Mayo. Wake up before it is too late.
