Petrol is in the range 105 to 125 cents per litre - petrol/gas is sold by the litre here now - 4.5 litres to the gallon so that makes it $5.81 to $6.9 dollars a gallon. And with crude hitting $68 a barrel it has a long way to go.

If you bump into him could you say thanks to GW Bush from me for managing to push oil prices up so high? I still imagine the conversation that must have taken place between GW and his oil buddies.

OilMan: 'Hey GW - oil prices are at a record low only $30 a barrel. Can you do anything about it? Our profits are suffering."
