I have deep respect for the five Rossport men sent ot jail. However, I believe they are being seriously misled by people who have jumped on a political bandwagon. The Davitt League is doomed to disaster. North Mayo is being made an industrial wilderness. There are many people in the region who feel like this but they are afraid to express their views because of intimidation. Also the tourist potential of their area is being destroyed.
