Johnny is the only Labour man in Mayo. Harry, while a nice man, doesn't stand a chance. The Labour party in Mayo has no structure. That means no one on the ground to help him. Here's an experiment. Contact Labour HQ via the web and show an interest in joining and see how long it takes for them to get back to you. Harry will be told to play second fiddle to FG candidates for fear he may take badly needed votes from their candidates who hope to take three seats in Mayo.
