it realy is a shame in this day & age a modern town overflowing with youth have no proper place to meet, like a poole or snooker hall alcohol free, i know where drink leads to if its not respected it can realy hit back, i visit i mayo on a very regular basis & yes its so sad to see very young boys & girls under the influence of drink & yes it does become a habit leading to an obsession thats very hard to get rid of, i remember two families in my home village between them they had 5 sons & at family gatherings or a fair day the boys father on a regular basis would give the sons a small drop in the bottom of a bottle leading to a half/full bottle the boys grew up & u guessed it they became addicted 4 of them are now in there graves & the remaining one living on the streets of Dublin they were all under 45, Yes its a shame but Ireland is noted for drinking & everything revolves around it. May be some ones will wonder why im ranting on but there are im sure people on here who will know exactly where im coming from. do you ever think you have a problem with drink, if so well maybe there is a message in this posting for you. God Bless. a greatful friend of B,W.
