I agree. 'Tis a good one.

Others ain't so good and have been deservedly ridiculed on this board before. Specifically the Swinford Bypass Joke Display.

To test it I stopped dead on the Swinford Bypass and the sign there told me that I was going too fast - not another car in sight. I snuck up at it and had a look when there were no cars at all and they were still to fast - S L O W - D O W N - T O O - FAST - it said.

Also what's with all these 50 kph and 'road works now' signs and even 25 km/h limits at places where there are no roadworks to be seen. They seem to be installed by contractors many weeks in advance of any real roadworks. Then at the other end when all roadworks are finished nobody bothers to remove them. How often have you seen the sign that says 'NO WHITE LINE' when the white line was painted on the renewed surface about 5 weeks previously. The sign is waiting for some wide-axle 18-wheeler to smash it into the nearest ditch. No wonder we ignore the signs when there really are roadworks or genuine reasons to limit your speed.
