I think they should charge a Toll to bump along that piece of road between Charlestown Scramoge just beyond Strokestown. If they did that it would bring a dose of reality. Why not take the train instead - it will get you to your meeting Dublin before 12:00 midday if you are lucky enough to get a taxi or the meeting happens to be located on the Red Luas Line!

Do you know sometimes it's quicker to go along the old road through Leixlip, Kilcock and Maynooth than to wait on the motorway pileup going into Enfield, Clonard and Kinnegad! Where wil the next bottleneck be even when we are paying National Toll Roads through the teeth and being delayed at the old-fashioned barriers that undoubtedly they will install. They are too cheap to put in automated camera-based system like those in use worldwide for decades now.
