And HOW do you propose they do that ?

The number of people who live within walking distance of town isint sufficent to support the number of shops there now besides people arent going to buy much if theyve no way of getting it home

There is certainly a case to be made for removing/restricting through traffic from most of the main street but this doesnt mean you have to charge people for using nearby carparks
