i agree with you when you say that Irish ferries can employ who they like, but i dont agree with them laying of existing employees to be replaced by cheaper ones, maybe they should start now employing who they like & let the Irish workers retire take redundancies etc,but dont just leave them off. i have no sympthy what so ever for any of the ferry companies because they have ripped off everyone that used there services over many many decades & indeed there ferries were nothing more than cattle boats until the later years, even now they are still grossly overcharging to cross what must be the most expensive 60 miles of water in the world, well done to the cut price airlines companies & the great monsignor who made it all possible for us in the West of Ireland
