Ireland now under EU laws passed in all member states, can request that the accused person can be brought to court in whatever state they are in, and be dwelt with there for crimes committed in another state, no warrant is required, there is a high degree of co-operation now between laws enforcement authorities in all member States, i know personally of forty two people tried in the Uk courts for offences committed in Republic of Ireland, eighteen of these were for trafic violations
