Vwhat I was saying was, if you'd bothered to 'read' the whole thing - is why don't the taxi's use the other ranks as a 'holding position' instead of trying to clog up Main Street (where they double park to enable them to scratch themselves and chat to each other like baboons).

Besides if people knew they could get taxi's outside the church they'd start looking there for them - especially late at night when it's equidistant from Cox's or the Welcome Inn to either the Church rank or Bridge Street rank.
