Ireland is part of the EU, we cannot pick the bits of law we like and not the rest, we are subject to EU legislation, we all voted for that when we joined in 1979, and this legislation reg phones, Internet, ect was passed by all the council of ministers and the entire EU Parliament into law what are you suggesting we should do? go against Europe? it aint going to happen, when we joined up we agreed to abide by the rules, its nothing at all to do with me by the way! i am only saying how it is and the law in this matter
