Hordes of foreign muslim painters andflooring contractors come in and work like blacks as Mary would have put it to make sure that you can enjoy the genuine Irish Pub experience for the rest of year. What do you think would happen if a pub closed and said 'closed for renovations' on a regular weekday or even worse a Friday, Saturday or Sunday? They would lose clients - they would go elsewhere. There's more to it than religion. And just think in the UK they are debating allowing large supermarkets to open for more than 6 hours on Sunday - this week's debate on the BBC. They are shocked to find 24x7 supermarkets open in small rural backward towns like Castlebar.
