Just a note to let you know that Castlebar will proudly fly the flag for the province of connaught in the community games finals in Mosney next month.On Saturday the team captured the Connaught title after overcoming Ballinamore,Co. Leitrim in the semi-final and Magheraboy of Sligo in the final.This is also a plea to the good citizens of Castlebar and beyond who may be in a position to sponsor or fund the team in what ever way you can.The total cost of the actual weekend will not be far off 5000 euro.That include a squad of 16 players and two adults,travel to Mosney,accomodation,food and return home.
