There is no gay pubs in Castlebar Mike, but all people no matter what their orientation are oe should be welcomed, the people who own the Irish house are not very happy that it has been labled a "gay Pub" as they say all are welcome, there are many gay people in Castlebar i can vouch for that your best bet would be to contact "Outwest" on their website i am sure they have people there and on their helpline to inform you, the concept of gay only bars is now dying the death in many countries with equality legislation, all people are encouraged to go out and mix and enjoy themselves and respect all others, there is alot of Homophobia in society as has been published in reports this year, but its falling all the time although the Government is i am assured working on the laws as are now inplace in the Uk of making Homophobia a criminal offence on a par with antiracial legislation
