This guy has actually produced a series of programmes for Channel 4 which will be seen by many millions of viewers. I don't think he is 'scrapping' any 'barrells' :)

Yesterday's reports may have said 'we are safe' but today's Sunday papers give a completely different picture as some people in another thread here have mentioned. Today's 'quality' Irish papers have devoted a huge amount of space to the 'terrorists' living amongst us right here right now in Holy Catholic Ireland. You sound like someone who is old enough to remember when we used to pray to God at Mass to forgive the Jews for Killing Jesus? I remember too hearing a priest 20 years ago giving a sermon aimed at stopping the proliferation of mosques and Islam throughout Ireland. Gosh maybe they were right?

Byt the way the link was merely to encourage you to CONTRIBUTE your excellent wisdom to the BBC's debating forum too - seeing as how your contributions here are so inciseful and intelligent and well reasoned! The BBC's forum actually allows people to have different views so they should welcome yours too. Lots of educated people debate the matter from all over the world not just from Ireland.

I'm surprised also that you had no comment on the snippet taken directly from the United Nation's website and the comments from Kofi Annan (he is the chief bottlewasher at the UN so he is quite an important guy) on manner in which the Israeli army assassinated an Irish Unifil soldier back in 1999?

I wonder now does that mean that THEY are against us? They kill our soldiers deliberately so they must be against us surely? What do you think? Is it okay if they kill Irish soldiers because really they are 'for us' Irish or something? They kill our soldiers so that is good?
