So instead of debating the points about the behaviour of the US government in waging various wars about the world you smear the bearer of bad news? You say please don't debate this topic? That's a tactic that works quite will in american politics - distract the voter from the issues by smearing the personal life of the opposotion candidate all over the tabloid press.

So Israel never used American bombs to kill 1000 innocent Lebanese a few weeks back? That is just a conspiracy dreamed up by the press? And as for Seymour Hershe who broke the Mai Lai Massacre, The Abu Graib torture stories among many others daring to write the story about US-Israeli talks in Washington planning the manner in which they would obliterate Lebanon? Sure Mai Lai never happened - nobody was tortured by US soldiers in Iraq - that's real terror - the baddies do that - and definitely the US did not help and approve Israel's latest slaughter of the innocents in Lebanon?

Of course the killer debating point is that the poster who mentioned it should really be reading a good book or going to the cinema? A debater who actually debates the point! They should be doing something else instead of debating on a debating board and bringing up inconvenient facts. They should not be discussing the topic of the thread they should go away and then the world would not know that a lot of people are dying at the hands of the current american administration?
