Well said Karen, Looking forward to a great weekend and familiar faces, speaking of which does anyone know where what I think was refered to as the 'Jack a 'buck' dissappeared to? He was the horned hare or rabbit who peered out over the "Pub is a poor mans, University" sign.
Great memories of the Humbert from time when most young people from around Castlebar were leaving to England, States etc. or heading off to college. Christmas Eves felt like Christmas because everybody seemed to be coming home.

On a serious note we have to ask can Castlebar afford to lose an institution like the Humbert?
Will next Sunday be Castlebar's "Day that Music died". Where else in the country would you find a live music venue in a building from where Irish Independence was proclaimed?
Well lets keep the music alive and live..........
