That was Pete's question. To me that suggests that he was actually accusing the previous poster of equating Irishness with white skin - i.e. racism - when there are now many thousands of black (and undoubtedly also proud) Irish - born and reared here.

Pete's post was the antithesis of racist and perhaps a little intelligence is required in reading the posts before engaging in rants that are so badly targetted that they are laughable.

There were some quasi-racist posts in the thread but stating 'By "Irish" do you mean "white"?' was not one of them by a long shot. So let's have a little bit of intelligence in these debates.

Otherwise we are no better than our esteemed Minsiter for Justice famed for ranting and foaming at the mouth - runnign across the road whenever he sees a TV camera to let off steam - and then having to apologise for his stupidity the next morning having lost a night's sleep. At least he realises after the event when he has been an idiot in public.
