Has anyone listened to the 'new' radio station now available in Castlebar and nationwide. Must say having had the opportunity to listen to Moncrieff and Hook for a few afternoons (plus endless repeats in the midnight hours) I am enjoying most of it. Previously only ever heard it while leaving Dublin. Sitting in that M50 car park on a Friday or any other afternoon trying to get to the N4 and on to the motorway back home. Moncrieff and his text messagers were mildly amusing in that situation but dulled by the need to get home. Now listening in more relaxed driving conditions it ain't bad stuff at all.

Now we have three different news/current affairs programmes to flick around between 4:30pm and 7:00pm although they still all seem to put sport news on simultaneously on all channels. Great to have choice.
