- no cribs but Bach Cantatas okay
- No Christmas but Paddy's Day okay
- no religious bells on RTE but no problem playing religious bells on the Beeb?
- no cribs in public places but Michelangelo's Pieta or David no problem in a public places?

and to cap it all -

It's okay for the Taliban to blow up one-thousand year old religious statues - provided they are not in a public place. (But no problemo when they are on private ground even thought ehy are visible for miles and miles).
