A lot of people reckon that Turkey shouldnt be allowed into the EU until it treats women and minorities better, admits to the Armenian genocide, recognises Cyprus, ends its territorial dispute with its neighbouring states, stops the war in Kurdistan, gets the army out of politics, stops banning political parties, repeals the laws against "insulting Turkishness", "promoting seperatism" ,discussing the armenian genicide or the use of the Kurdish language.
