Laptops are a very useful resource,that I am not arguing with.I just think it's typical that FG are on about laptops for pupils whilst also proposing that schools and teachers are rated,and payed in tandem with the results they produce.This idea is not new,Britain tried it before and it failed miserably.How would you get anyone to teach in the more deprived areas where your national average grades are not met simply because the pupils come from families where their parents are incapable or unprepared to help or even care whether their kids homework is completed.Enda is not a goat.He was teaching before he became a TD.But I have heard as much sense coming from a goat.By the way I am not anti FG,nor am I a member of any other political party.I wish there was an opposition party who could entice one to vote for them by producing a meaningful manifesto.At present I can't see FF losing their position in power simply because of the lack of opposition.A bit similar to Mr Blair and Co over the water.
