Have to agree, was there a few weeks ago and was most pleasantly surprised. Visited the Lowry centre and had a most enjoyable time.First shop I visited, the assistant there asked me if I was Irish and I said yes. She said she was too and said she came from a town in the west called Castlebar! Said she left there as a child and moved with her family to Wexford and then to Wales. All she could remember about the town was that it had a "big green area" in the centre.Small world.
