There ARE youth clubs in Castlebar - plus a goodly number of sporting organisations that cater for the youff - with lots of volunteers - rugby, hurling, soccer, boxing especially - plus school sports, tennis, swimming, martial arts, music (concert band), and regular arts workshops for youngsters at the Linenhall.

Also check out the Big Brother Big Sister, Foroige project currently funded by corporate philantropy - it's based on Rock Square. They are looking for adult volunteers too.
