Firstly, is the meeting a public meeting or are the developers going to behind closed doors to "advise" our elected councillors. Secondly, if you are not happy, lobby and lobby and lobby the councillors because the council can not sell an inch of that car park unless two thirds of the elected officials vote to sell it. The power is with you now so s**t or get off the pot. Remember if they sell the car park, the charges will then be in the hands of businessmen so if you think parking is expensive now, wait till they get a hold of it.
The elected councillors have little power usually but in this case they can do something. So stop complaining here about it and contact your councillor if you feel that strongly. If not, stay stump and get your wallet out for parking charge increases.
