" I dont like the union jack and what it stand for," it stands for "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and its 60 million population, just as the Irish flag stands for the people of the Irish Nation, what gripe have you against the whole of the Uk when relations bwtween both countries have never been better and there is hope of peace in Northern Ireland where all parties are working together to bring such a peace about, whatever the arugments and wrongs of the past isnt that now where it should remain? or do you want to put the sins of the past onto this generation in the Uk who werent even born, you should respect each country and their customs and flags ect i am not Irish but live here for over ten years i would not dare insult the Irish people or their flags or customs out of deep respect
