The new road along the river at the Barracks with the large roundabout at the bridge exit is the best new innovation to the town's traffic in ages. It cuts my commute time down from 8 minutes to 6 minutes - just that one item alone has taken 25% off my commuting time.

They say that every 10 minutes spent commuting reduces their community involvement and network of friends by 10%. Those 4 minutes multiplied by all the people that the new barracks bridge will help in getting to work will increase community involvement in Castlebar quite considerably as a result - surely? :)
