For God's sake don't start a row about the Credit Union having a mass to celebrate the opening anniversary. We had enough of that nonsense at Christmas in the hospital. Ireland, like it or not, has a mainly Catholic ethos and the CU management are perfectly entitled to have a mass. I am sure it is not intended to offend any other denomination.
