I am in the lucky position of having a bit of money left to me which I want to put into a property to rent out. I have been to lots of estate agents but would like some independent advice please. I am thinking of a 3 bed semi in either Castlebar, Ballyvary or Balla, I do not know the estates in Castlebar and on reading the Connaught there seems to be problems with some of them, not sure what the rental position would be in Ballyvary, I checked out estate in Balla beside church but thought €175k for 3 bed semi without kitchen or fireplace(no pc sums allowed) was on the high side. My spending amount would be approx €180k and a bit over for stamp duty and solicitor.
