A giant of the international labour movement and one of the heroes of the Spanish Civil War, Michael O'Riordan (Red Mick), has died, a brave soldier who fought against fascism when the Irish hierarchy supported Franco, a dictator and a cruel, sadistic man. If memory serves me right he was joined by a brave young man from Achill by the name of Patten. Their noble souls should be remembered with pride by all who respect free speech.
