I agree. There are 100% more cars on the roads, but the roads havn't changed. Ireland is not a safe country to drive in. I would recommend that the government should start introducing restrictions on road usage until the death toll is reduced to less than 100 a year. Restrictions like Provisional drivers can't drive at night. Pedestrians can't walk on national primary and secondary roads. Its illegal to walk on a road way in the US, when I was driving to work this morning, some clown was out in the middle of the road walking his dogs, a road thats just wide enough for 2 cars.
