I live in a rural area because I don't want to suck in the fumes of car traffic, etc. if my fellow rural dwellers were producing as much carbon surely I'd have noticed.

I took the decision to move to a rural area because there are no houses in Castlebar that are built with Solar Cells, Geo-Thermal or any form of green energy.

It is much cheaper to build a house that takes advantage of the natural daylight heating and lighting in a rural setting than it is in an urban setting where you have no choice but to accept the dwellings currently built by developers.
