"Are you seriously suggesting chucking a million plus Irish workers onto the dole better on the dole than have blood on our hands, Ireland have had this love affair with the U.S for to long, we are now part of Europe that is where our future lies not with an aggressive nation, if the price of having jobs as you mentioned is to be browbeaten into doing everything they say eg Shannon ect than we dont want their jobs we can get along quiet niceley thank you without them, and dont fret we are not dependent these days on the U.S remember they can pull out of here anytime and many of them are doing that already as they see more profits in Eastern Europe and Asia
