Hello Ed It really good to hear from you. glad you gotten the technical stuff sorted out now. Sorry to hear about Ellen - you both still regularly figure in our prayers. What's the weather like in your part of the world? Here its pretty wicked and it won't stop raining. Lost a bridge in Castlebar recently. Idiot traffic warden put a ticket on caterpillar digger for being illegally parked on his foot as the digger got to work shoring up the damage. Driver maintained he couldn't see his feet as the warden was standing on a wheel clamper's head in six foot of water at the time. NOW THATS WHAT YOU CALL VOCATIONAL DILIGENCE and total disregard for personal safety. He then went on to book a bloke with a long beard for mooring up a bloody great ark in the main road and then put the Guarda on to him for keeping unlicensed livestock on board and failing to provide an EC63 movements authorisation certificate for the movement of livestock within an EU country. It all became a bit of a nightmare because the clamping boys couldn'y find anywhere to clamp the ark and the livestock came off two by two and the Gaurda lost count of them as they charged off up station road to finish up in a dutch auction on the Mall. The old fella with the long beard was also a bit peeved due to having had a balling out from the health and safety wallahs about the keeping of dangerous animals and the local kids stealing the Ark when his back was turned to build a bonfire for bonfire night. The Guarda refused to help the poor old fellah as they thought the animals were being illegally imported and it really was a job for the Customs and excise and coast Guards to look after. Things eventually got sorted out and they all decided to repair to the infamous 'General' inn for liquid refreshments and a game of russian roulette. But you would believe it - some thieving boyo had nicked it. Stolen! It was no longer there! Nothing! No pub, no building - nothing! Some said it were the fairies, some said the Guarda. But I know what happened....... it was spirited away by the water imps and when the wind blows and moans you'll hear them singing and carousing the night long when the moon is full and all a'frighted folk are abed with their faces turned to the wall as the little devils fly on by.
