"On the question of Iraq you would think that the powers that be in Westminister should have seen the time the military had to stay in Northen Ireland" That is very different indeed from Iraq, the Government was fed wrong intelligence about the situation in Iraq and the House of Commons was mislead about the premise of going to war, but whither its Northen Ireland or Iraq you cant just cut and run, the Uk has a low level of troops in Iraq that will be cut more in the coming year, other countries Poland,Australia ect have been increasing their numbers of troops there in past year, its not a matter of length of time in either situation its your commitment and just as the troops were sent to the North and then in time a polictical settlement was reached then withdrew that will be the same in Iraq, but even if there is no polictical settlment in Iraq the Uk troops were being reduced anyway while other countries increase theirs
