Okay Folks Roll up Roll Up - This is how it will work:

Daz: Daz will set up his cookery apparatus i.e. one of those big outdoor hot oil deep fat frying thingummies. The location: The Roundadabout at Tescos/McDonalds. He will suspend the uncooked goose for all to see above the hot oil waiting for the starting gun.

Duncan: Ducan will rev his car and drive three times around the Tescos/McDonalds Roundabout waiting for the race starting gun to go off.

Starter: The Starter will wait for Duncan to complete his third lap and fire the starting gun - initiating the race between goosecooker and cardriver - Daz v Duncan

Timekeeping: Atomic timing will be used together with radio transponders, radar guns and photofinish cameras to ensure all is accurate and above board. A standard meat thermometer will be plunged into the goose flesh to track the cooking progress.

The Winner: The winner will be either Daz or Duncan.

Daz wins if his goose is cooked before Duncan reaches the monument on the Octagon. 'Cooked' is defined as having reached an internal meat temperature of 73.9C.

Duncan wins if he reaches the Octagon before Daz's goose is cooked.

Time of Race: Rush Hour!
