Absolutely right, Philip! Human rights and democracy are being slowly and surely eroded in the UK. God help the Brits if they are stupid enough to vote in New Labour for another decade. Still, it's said a country only gets a government it deserves.

On the other hand, Nanny Harriet, the current deputy prime minister looks so much more attractive than the previous ugly old sod - so that must be a step in the RIGHT direction. (no pun intended.
