Folks, dunno if this was mentioned already but I can't believe the situation with the traffic lights at the junction entering Castlebar (Chapel st/Newport Rd). I first saw that the lights were out on Saturday afternoon and the only action taken was that signs were put on the road saying that the lights were out, no sign of any Gardai directing traffic or anyone even working on the lights, a dangerous situation.

I then came to the same junction again on Monday, and it was still the same!! I couldn't believe it, absolutely ridiculous. Why don't the council just stick a roundabout there now as well with absurd markings!
