"the so called Established Church of England" you asked for no rudeness? then why the remark above? leaving that aside there is no "So called" about it, the Church of England is the Established Church of the Realm as by law and tradition thus established is one holy Catholic and Apostolic, it has over 75million members all over the world is better known as the "Anglican Communion" of which the Churches of Scotland, Wales, and Ireland are part of, it has excellent relations with the Roman Catholic Church and other christian Churches, it is a broad Church where high Church people ( catholic ) and Evangelicals ( bible based) and born again christians can feel at home, its titular head his His Grace the Archbishop of Canturbury Dr Rowan Williams, the Church is split into two provinces Canturbury and York ( northern Archdiocease) it has a synodal system of government with elections held in each parish council to send members to the General Synod which meet twice a year to decide all decisions by majority voting on matters of church law and doctrine, it has both men and women priests and parishioners who do the day to day running of each parish Church. after some decline it has of late seen a revival in numbers and record numbers of clergy and lay readers.
