Ellen bought me a new dell lap top and I find it can be up to 2g. I also found out it is new, but a 8 year old unit. Check out the duel units. I am happy with it. It is much smarter than I. It was made in china. It is heavy and the battery is good for 4.5 hours. It is about 10 lbs. I have repair insurance and it paid off. The left click stopped working and dell replaced it. They came out to the house twice. Tell the seller you are taking it to Ireland and if the insurance is still good there. I don't like the carry case, too heavy. You need a padded case. good luck
